What is MAGIK?

MAGIK is a gaming token, empowering the wizards of World of Magik and beyond. It is the base on-chain currency for equipment, spells and lives for hardcore (non free-to-play) and tournament game modes.

Its contracts are renounced, but its utility continues to evolve in parallel with World of Magik and the other communities and entities that adopt and accept it. Its supply has been fully emitted and sits at 939,131 as of this writing.

Lastly, MAGIK is a dog.

How do I get MAGIK?

MAGIK can be won by competing in tournaments (both free and pay to play), and by completing in-game objectives and achievements. It can also be swapped for on a number of decentralized exchanges.

MAGIK’s Fantom and non-Fantom liquidity pools are decentrally and permissionlessly provided by its community (you can check the contracts listed below to see current pairings on dexscreener). Users typically prefer aggregators like _insert firebird link_ for swapping.

How do I use MAGIK?

MAGIK can be used to acquire lives for hardcore game modes at a 1 to 1 ratio. In hardcore PvP mode, players lose one life each time they die and win ~1 MAGIK for each killing blow they land on another player. There is a small fee on killing blows to pay for “gassless” reward settlement.

Hardcore PvE, Faction and game economy are in open development with weekly public discord forums.

MAGIK can be used to mint NFT equipment and consumables.
